Home Group consumes only legally harvested and responsibly sourced timber and timber composites. Every year our factories pass control audits on FSC and confirm EUTR requirements. When purchasing raw materials, we prioritize recycled materials. For instance, all cardboard packaging used at Home Group is from recycled sources. Next, in the production process, we sustainably manage waste – it’s getting sorted at source and when applicable, recycled externally. We also work hard to reduce the amount of waste we generate.
As a part of our energy-saving agenda, we have installed biomass heating in our factories. This helps save resources and utilize waste generated by own woodworking production.
